Flash the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 Pro Firmware Using Xiaomi MI Flash Tool
- Download on your PC the firmware file that you wish to flash to your phone, and extract the file to get the flash files inside.
- Now, download the Xiaomi USB driver, extract the driver, and install it on your PC.
- Download the Xiaomi Flash Tool to your PC, and extract the zip file to get the files below.
- Locate the folder, find XiaoMiFlash.exe, and launch it as an administrator.
- A pop-up will appear asking you to install some drivers; click on “Install” to install the drivers.
- After the driver installation, ready your phone by booting your phone to “download mode.”
- If you face any issue with the above setup, download the installer version that installs on your PC instead.
- To boot your Xiaomi phone to “Download Mode,” first power it off, and while off, press and hold the volume down + power button for a few seconds till “Download Mode” appears.
- On the tool, click “select” to locate the firmware you recently extracted.
- You need to select the “firmware” folder where all the files are located (not the file).
- Next is to connect your phone to the PC using the USB cable, and you will see that the tool has detected your phone.
- Drop your phone and ensure not to interrupt it during flashing.
- For those with an open bootloader, remember to click this at the bottom of the tool to avoid locking it back.
- Click on “flash” to begin the flashing process; the tool will take a few minutes to complete flashing.
- Once the flashing is done, unplug your phone, close the Xiaomi MI Flash Tool, and enjoy the new experience.
