How to Flash the Firmware
Since the Hotwav Venus X19 is based on a Spreadtrum (UNISOC) chipset, you will need the SPD Upgrade Tool to flash the firmware. Here are the five basic steps:
- Download and install the correct Spreadtrum USB drivers on your Windows PC.
- Download your chosen firmware version from the links above and extract the .pac file from the zip archive.
- Download and launch the SPD Upgrade Tool application.
- Click the “Load Packet” button (the single gear icon) and select the .pac firmware file you extracted.
- Turn off your phone, click the “Start Downloading” button (play icon) in the tool, and then connect your phone to the PC while holding the Volume Down button to begin.
