How to Flash the Firmware
This device uses a Spreadtrum chipset, which requires the SPD Upgrade Tool for flashing. The firmware files are in .PAC format.
- Download and install the Spreadtrum (UNISOC) USB drivers on your Windows PC. You may need to restart your computer.
- Download and extract your chosen firmware zip file to a new folder.
- Download and launch the SPD Upgrade Tool.
- Click the “Load Packet” button (the single gear icon) and select the
.PACfile from the firmware folder you extracted. - Turn off your Hotwav Venus X12 completely. Click the “Start Downloading” button (the play icon) in the tool, then connect your phone to the PC while pressing and holding the Volume Down key.
