Always match your exact phone model and chipset before flashing, as cross-flashing between MT6765/MT6762 models may hard brick the device.
Warning: Only use firmware for the exact Meizu M8 hardware (M813H/MT6765 or MT6762). Improper flashing can cause network loss or perma-brick. Backup all data first.
How to Flash the Firmware
SP Flash Tool (for ZIP/Stable ROM):
- Unzip the ROM on your PC.
- Install MTK VCOM drivers.
- Launch SP Flash Tool, load “scatter.txt” from the firmware folder.
- Click “Download”, connect phone (off), wait for completion.
- Disconnect and boot device. (First boot takes long.)
Stock Recovery (OTA ZIP, 7.1.6.0G):
- Copy downloaded “update.zip” to internal storage or SD root.
- Reboot to recovery (Power + Vol Up), choose “Install update.zip”.
- Wait; the phone will restart automatically after success.
