The Hotwav Venus R8 is a budget Android device from 2017, and after years of use, it’s common for owners to face software issues. Based on our research into user complaints for phones with this hardware (Spreadtrum SP7731), the most frequent problems include the phone being stuck on the Hotwav boot logo (bootloop), severe system-wide lag and freezing, and apps that constantly crash or show “Unfortunately, the app has stopped” errors. In some cases, you may also be locked out due to a forgotten password.
The most effective solution for all these issues is to re-flash the stock firmware. This process installs a fresh copy of the Android 6.0 operating system, which deletes all problematic files, removes viruses, and restores your Hotwav Venus R8 to its original, out-of-the-box condition.
