How to Flash

There are two methods depending on the ROM type and your device’s condition.

Method 1: Stock Fastboot ROM (Standard Restore)

  1. Download the Stock Fastboot ROM (.tgz file) and extract it.
  2. Boot your device into Fastboot mode (Power + Volume Down).
  3. Open Mi Flash Tool, select the extracted folder, and choose clean all.
  4. Click “Flash” to begin the installation.

Method 2: Factory ROM (Advanced Unbrick)

Warning: This is for advanced users with a hard-bricked device that cannot enter Fastboot mode.

  1. Download and extract the Factory ROM (.zip file).
  2. Boot your device into EDL Mode (9008). This often requires using hardware test points on the motherboard.
